The LINDA Fund Was Established in Honor of
John S. Giunta & Linda L. Goldfarb
Both were spouses of two active members of the National Conference of CPA Practitioners
and the Long Island Tax Professionals Symposium.
John S. Giunta
John S. Giunta was a CPA who valued the integrity of the profession and the fostering of students as they entered the profession after graduation. An active board member of the National Conference of CPA Practitioners, he often spoke at local colleges about the tremendous opportunities of working at smaller sized firms.
John was deeply devoted to, and volunteered at, local parishes as a financial consultant. John loved his time working with his son's Little League, both as a board member and manager. John believed if you have been given good fortune you must return some of that with your time and commitment.
Linda L. Goldfarb
Linda L. Goldfarb was a Certified Professional Organizer (CPO) and a devoted member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and the National Study Group on Chronic Disorganization (NSGCD). Linda spent over 10 years as a professional organizer assisting clients in organizing their personal and financial affairs. As a result of her professional work as well as her devoted work in assisting both NAPO and NSGCD, Linda was recognized and honored by being awarded the President's Award.
In addition to Linda's professional work, Linda donated significant time and energy with her volunteer efforts for the Interfaith Nutrition Network Inn in Hempstead, NY and with Last Hope Animal Rescue, Inc., also located on Long Island, NY. Linda devoted her life to helping others in any way she was able.
